The Women’s Ministry of First Baptist Gainesville seeks to create an environment which will nourish transformation in women and assist them in their spiritual growth. Our goals are to help create a sense of belonging, connect women with each other, develop lay leadership, recognize and support women’s needs, utilize our individual gifts, and encourage fellowship and connection, so that through discipleship, outreach, missions and special events, women are empowered and united to serve Christ in the church and community. Women’s Bible study groups are hosted seasonally throughout the year. We also have women’s retreats, socials, service days and a variety of activities.
