The Exaltation Orchestra at First Baptist Church is a group of talented instrumentalists, high-school age and older, who are regular participants in our worship services. Beyond making music together, they have the privilege of using their abilities to bring praise to God and enhancing the services of worship for all. This higher purpose brings great joy to all participants, as we take our place in a line of people stretching back many generations who used instruments to proclaim the glory of God. – Glenn Eernisse, Orchestra Director
The Exaltation Orchestra performs in the 11 a.m. Sanctuary Worship service twice a month, and is led by director Glenn Eernisse. Weekly rehearsals are Sunday mornings from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Orchestra Room, located in the Music Wing.
